Why I created The Cohort Collective

These people should know each other.
The idea for The Cohort Collective began, in part, in Lisbon.
I was there celebrating with some of my closest girlfriends, surrounded by conversation, laughter, beautiful meals, new experiences, and the kind of ease that comes from being fully present with people you care about.
And I remember thinking:
This is how life should be lived.
With people who make room for joy, curiosity, laughter, growth, and discovery.
With a community you can experience the world with.
That feeling stayed with me.
For years, my work had also put me in rooms with founders, executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives, and people building what comes next.
And I kept having another thought:
These people should know each other.
Not because they had something to sell, but because one person's experience, idea, perspective, or introduction could open something for someone else.
I realized I was looking for the intersection of both.
A community with the warmth of friendship, the energy of discovery, and the richness that comes from bringing interesting people, perspectives, cultures, and experiences together.
I wanted more opportunities to meet people outside my usual circles. To learn. To explore. To keep expanding how I see the world.
I do not want to reach a point in life where I only know what I already know.
That is why I created The Cohort Collective.
